I've just seen my blog for the first time. I'm still in China and I still find it impossible to see the page http://abrogard.blogspot.com
But by going to the Template page I can click preview and see the blog via another URL that doesn't get blocked.
I'm assuming that I'm being blocked by Chinese censorship.
It seems ludicrous but it also seems to be true that the Chinese are blocking some web pages.
Ludicrous because the chances of completely and/or permanently blocking anything are tiny - I'd say about impossible. If anyone wanted to beat this I'm sure they could come up with a way fairly quickly. I'm sure there are those that have already done so.
Ludicrous because it makes a mockery of what China claims to be doing vis-a-vis the rest of the world.
Ludicrous because that's what it makes China and its government appear to be: ludicrous.
This is what I get when I try my URL:
The page cannot be displayed
Problem
The system cannot communicate with server abrogard.blogspot.com.
Probable cause
The Internet server abrogard.blogspot.com may be temporarily or permanently down, may be busy, may not provide the service desired, or may be unreachable because of network connectivity problems.
Possible solutions
Check the spelling of the Internet address
Try again later. Click Refresh to reload.
Go back to the previous page and try another link.
But, via the 'preview' etc., it certainly seems to be there.
